Remember Max Payne? Yeah the same dude who could dodge bullets in slow-mo like Neo in Matrix.

He also holds the world record for killing most number of people in a single night. According to rough calculations, he must have killed close to 1,000 people that night. He tried to better his record in Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, but the darn developers made the game too short for him to break his milestone. Never mind, now they are giving him a third chance with Max Payne 3. According to CVG, the game will arrive for PC, Xbox360, PS3 this year, winter.

“We’re starting a new chapter of Max’s life with this game,” said Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games said while speaking to CVG.

“This is Max as we’ve never seen him before, a few years older, more world-weary and cynical than ever. We experience the downward spiral of his life after the events of Max Payne 2 and witness his last chance for salvation.”

Well if Max Payne is indeed gonna like he does in that screenshot above, then I am going to be seriously disappointed. Doesn’t that remind you of GTA IV? The game was good.. sure.. but I hate GTA.. I hope they stick to the original graphic style of Max Payne; but hey with better poly-count =P.
