BREAKING: PS3 Price Dropped in India

Following announcements of drop in prices of PS3 by $100 at Gamescom yesterday, the price of the PS3 SIXAXIS 80GB version of the console has been dropped by 20% to Rs19,990 in India. Hold on, the good news doesn’t end there, it will come bundled with Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and GT5 Prologue.

These are just the steps India needs to boost sale of the console which looked over-priced in comparison to Xbox360 Arcade selling for around Rs16-17K and Wii selling for Rs21K.

No news on the release dates of PS3 slim in India as yet, but hopefully it will happen at the same time as it happens internationally. (September 1)
